Ideas for fab Summer days out!
Dear Subscriber
A fantastic range of free, and nearly free, holiday events are on the website to help you plan family days out over the summer holidays.   We've been busy with a revamp of the website, so in addition to searching by date, you'll now find quick links which will list activities by themes.
For example, if you are looking for Science events, Arts and Crafts or Walk and Tours use the quick links to see what's on offer.  Let me know if you have suggestions for other categories.
More events will be loaded each day this week - so keep up to date with the latest news by following Fab Family Days on Facebook or Twitter.
Happy hols
Free olympic events
Several Olympic sporting events are free to watch e.g. the marathon and cycling.  Also, don't miss out on the cultural olympiad events that are taking place all over the country.  I've listed the free, London-based family events on the Fab Family Days website.
Special offers at National Trust and RHS
Both the National Trust, and RHS at Wisley have a special offer for the Summer holidays where children get free entry to their locations.
Download a voucher from the National Trust website, and check their participating properties.
For access to RHS at Wisley - 21st July to 31st August - no voucher is required, just an accompanying paying adult (£10.50).  They have a Birds of Prey display 18th & 19th August, and a sculpture trail open from 25th August, and storytelling, sow and grow, music making and art activities on other days.
Kids Week - additional availability
Additional tickets for West End theatre shows w/c 23rd July have just been announced by Kids Week.   This will enable a child to go free for every paying adult ticket paid for, any additional child tickets are half-price.  Its about the best value way of seeing the top London shows!
