It’s going to be great weather for the St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival this Sunday 16th March in Trafalgar Square, 12 to 6pm.    The parade will feature marching bands, floats, Irish dancing and lots of pageantry.    For more ideas for this weekend check out the rest of the March listings.

On the buses!
Also this weekend is the Depot Open Weekend at the London Transport Museum's site in Acton.  The timings are 11am to 5pm on both Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th March.  This promises to be a bus bonanza!

Sport Relief 21st to 23rd March
Looking ahead to the Sport Relief activity next weekend – have you booked your place on a Sports Relief Mile yet?   If you don’t feel cycling, swimming or running – enjoy the events as a spectator in the Olympic Park or local to where you live.

Free family events at the end of March
At the end of March is the Head of the River Race, 29th March.   The race starts on the River Thames, 2.15pm at Mortlake with 400 teams racing to the finish at Putney.
Also that weekend is a Community Music Day at the Horniman Museum. The fun starts at 12 noon and finishes at 5pm.   A huge range of music and dance performances and workshops are on offer.
