Fab days out in June

Lots of great things happening this weekend both in London and Surrey - some highlights are below, but check out the website for a full listing.  Also, make a note in your diary to log onto the Kids Week website 18th June to get a free child's ticket to a West End show - details below. Free London events this weekend
This Saturday in London, 15th June, we have the fabulous display of the Trooping of the Colour.    Take an early position in the Mall to watch the soldiers parade to and from Horse Guards parade ground.
Polka Theatre in Wimbledon, have their open day Sunday 16th June, giving families an opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes - lots of free activities for children as well.
Outdoor events in Surrey
Dunsfold Park is raising money for the Children's Trust in Tadworth 15th & 16th June, with a Supercar event - a one day family ticket costs £25.
Other activities in Surrey this weekend, include free entry for Dad's at Painshill Park - Sunday 16th June.
Pick your own has started at Crockford Bridge Farm, and you can get a free croquet taster session in Priory Park, Surrey Saturday 15th June.

Kids Week booking line opens 18th June
Kids week is a fantastic initiative which gives you the opportunity to get one free children's ticket for a West End Show - in August - for every adult ticket purchased.  
Several of the theatres are doing free workshops and back stages tours linked to this initiative - make your selection before the 18th June, and book early!

Looking ahead.........
There are only a handful of country shows and events that come under my limit of £25 for a family ticket.   
The Guildford Summer Festival starts 22nd June and runs through to 3rd August with a range of family events - have a look at the Fab Family Days homepage for some of the events I've picked out for families.
Gatton Country Fair - previously known as the Go Green Festival takes place Sunday 7th July, £5 per adult and kids go free.
Smallholder and Self-sufficiency Show, 6 & 7th July is a smidge over my limit at £26 for a family ticket.
The Streatham Festival is an arts based event running for 11th to 14th July and will have lots of free activities for families
