PROMS 2012 SPECIAL

Bookings for the BBC's PROMS Summer season start from this Saturday 12th May!
There are just three Proms which have the lowest ticket price of £6 per seat - none are free this year.   However, there are several free family events linked to the Proms, which will give children a chance to play their instruments and join in with professional musiciains - further details below.

Family Proms (ticket prices £6 - £12)
Sunday 29th July, 3.30 - 5.15pm.  The Wallace & Gromit Prom - World Premiere of a new show.
Sunday 5th August, 4.30 - 5.30pm.  Prom 30 featuring Youth Choirs
Monday 27th August, 3 - 5pm. Prom 58 - Family Matinee, A journey to far corners of our musical world.

One event for teenagers (12 - 18 years)
Tuesday 28th August, 1 - 3pm. Proms Plus Sing. A great way to explore opera for the first time with the Glyndebourne Opera Land team.

Free Family events
All the following events have a recommended minimum age of 7.  Families are encouraged to bring their instruments along to the Proms Plus events.   For beginners, percussion instruments are available. If you are interested in going to the Prom linked to the free family event, the minimum price is listed alongside the workshop information.
