Regent's Park

Day out location essentials


The Regent's Park is the largest grass area for sports in Central London and offers a wide variety of activities, as well as an Open Air Theatre, the London Zoo and many cafes and restaurants.

Wildlife Garden.  The garden will demonstrate how much can be done to encourage and support wildlife in your garden, even in the smallest of urban spaces, so come along to find some inspiration.

Queen Mary's Gardens.  Queen Mary’s Garden is a world-famous garden named after the wife of King George V. In 1932 when Queen Mary’s Gardens opened to the general public, the first superintendent planted a rose garden which was completed in 1934.

Regent's Park Allotment Garden.  Its open to the public Monday - Friday from 8.30am - 4:30pm.  You can it on the corner of the Inner Circle and Chester Road, next to the Park Office.

Boating Lake.  The Boathouse has rowing boats and pedalos available for hire. The boating lake is open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
